I had an idea Saturday...
I had to make a return to Hobby Lobby and then decided to wonder around the store a bit... didn't have any craftiness in mind but all of a sudden I happened upon these letters. I've wanted to do something along these lines for a long time but had originally though of making our monogram for above our bed. Well, it's just about impossible to find two sizes of letters in the same font that are large enough to begin with. Flipped through an idea book and stumbled on using the "&" sign instead of "M." I LOVE IT!!!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
So, I LOVE that you can buy printable iron-on transfer paper. And, I LOVE that our Librarian sent out a blank Thing # circle. Did a little fancy (or not so fancy) Publisher work and voila - we've got 'Thing 4' shirts for the 4th grade teachers at Gibsonville. Sadly enough I go so many 'ooohhh'ss' and 'aaahhh'ss' for being so creative. Those who can do this know how NOT creative it is...just easy!!!Anyway...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. SEUSS...we teachers LOVE what you did for reading education!!!
