Traveled to Orlando this past weekend with Towa. We took off 1/2 way through the day Thursday and did not return until Monday evening. Dayna's wedding was on Sunday with the Rehearsal dinner and Bachelorette Party the nights before. We had a great time. Met Rory down there and stayed with my sister-in-law Kelly. She was kind enough to sign us into and hang out with us at Animal Kingdom and Epcot (where I finally got my margarita). We all LOVED being together and having a great time at "the happiest place on earth." The wedding was beautiful despite the "liquid sunshine" that God spilled out onto dinner.

When I got home Scott had flowers for me. He said he missed me. Isn't he the cutest :) !!!!

New Furniture!

Well, new to us anyway. We drove to Cary on Thursday and picked up some of my grandmother's unneeded furniture. She is moving back to Tennessee and didn't need all that she had. We got a new dresser and entertainment center for our bedroom. Lucky enough, we got tons of other stuff too but I've only got this one picture. Love it all.
We had to rearrange things so the "king of the house" could see the TV comfortably (priorities, you see). I'm getting used to it! Anyhoo, I know the picture sucks but - you'll just have to stop by for a better look!!! :)Check Spelling

Yakola Kids...

This weekend is the ACC womens tournament. Scott has been working all the TV games and I've been a spectator. Since he was unable to enjoy spending time with his family like I was, we headed out to the Yakola house for dinner tonight. Here's a photo of Scott, Alle, and Holden. Those kids are really growing up fast!

Snow Days!!!

Monday and Tuesday at school were snow days... yipee!!! Reagan loved it!!!

However, this now means we will be going to school all the way until June 15th.

The Fat Lady has Sung :(

Andrews basketball was defeated on Wednesday night. The 2008-2009 season has officially come to a close.Liz and John Moore and Scott and Alle Yakola were able to join me at the game. Alle decided to try her hand at photography. I don't know about you, but she's definately got a steady hand.

Full Weekend...

Scott was scheduled to work stats for the UNCG basketball game on Saturday. When we woke up he told me they were playing the "Fighting Christians" - Our Alma Mater (Elon - Phoenix), so I decided to join him! Here he is doing his stats thing...
And what's up with the hair on this kid...he supposedly a stud on the court though. Unfortunately the Phoenix fell to the Spartans.
Saturday night we met up with Amy, Scott, JT, Kevin and Erin for dinner at Chili's. We had a great time and enjoyed being with family +.
Sunday I finally got the chance to venture out to Ikea Charlote (opened Feb. 18th). I braved the rainy weather and made the hour and fifteen minute treck out there. It was like going to an amusement park, people were directing traffic and telling us where to park just like Disney World. I felt bad for them all bundled up in rain coats and plastic bags to keep dry. Fun times though - I just like walking around and managed to spend $40 on trinkets and such. Mom was supposed to join me but bailed due to looming weather reports. Honestly, she's glad she didn't go. There was MAJOR traffic on the way home. Took me almost 4 hours to get home. AAAHHHH.

Finally, as the weekend is drawing to a close, here are some pictures of my car and our back patio as the snow is falling... I took these pictures at about 8:20. I'm quite shocked to see all this snow (hey, it's a lot for us Carolinians)! They haven't officially canceled school as of yet but I'd say it's pretty much in the bag.
